Super Sprayers is a spray foam insulation company based at 77 Macdonell Street in downtown Guelph, a few blocks from the Basilica of Our Lady. Since 2018 our crews have finished more than 800 jobs, from drafty rim joists in Kortright Hills and cold basements in the Ward to steel drive sheds on the concession roads outside Elora. Spray foam is our core trade rather than a sideline, and every install follows the CAN/ULC-S705 installation standard from the first pass to the final job record.

Guelph sees roughly 4,000 heating degree days a year, and most of that heat escapes through air leaks rather than through the insulation itself. Spray foam fills and seals every gap in the same pass, so it insulates and air seals as one layer. Closed cell foam also stays warm on its inner face, which stops the condensation that soaks batts on cold concrete and steel.

The Royal City has a little of everything, and each era of house loses heat in its own way.
Guelph's grey limestone homes have solid masonry walls, joist ends buried in the stone and fieldstone foundations. Insulating them from inside makes the stone colder, so the plan has to account for how the wall dries. Our guide to insulating older and stone homes explains the safer upgrade order.
These houses often have thin attic insulation, rim joists stuffed with loose batts and cold rooms over the garage. Some of the older attics still hide vermiculite, which has to be tested before anyone disturbs it. Sealing the rim joists and attic floor is usually the quickest comfort win.
Builder-grade homes in Westminster Woods and the growing Clair-Maltby area tend to have half-height basement blankets and bonus rooms that run cold. Property managers in Old University and around Stone Road ask us about sound between units, basement apartments and fire separations. Most rental work gets booked for May through August, between leases. We plan re-occupancy times around move-in dates so nobody walks into a fresh spray zone.

Installers are trained, tested and carded through the Canadian Urethane Foam Contractors Association program, with site audits, so the person spraying your building is qualified to do it.
Every foam job follows the national installation standard: we check temperatures and mix ratios, run daily field tests, limit the thickness of each pass and keep a signed job record.
Our applicators are certified to spray Carboline fireproofing on structural steel to the thickness each listed design requires, so clients get insulation and fire protection from one crew.
Every crew member is covered by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board. If someone is hurt on your property, the claim goes through WSIB, not you.
We carry liability insurance and the licences our work requires, so your home or building is protected while we work. Certificates of insurance come with any quote on request.

Prep and masking

Foam goes on in controlled passes so each layer cures properly.
Trimming and cleanup
Overspray is trimmed flush for drywall and the site is swept and bagged.
Re-occupancy
You return after the manufacturer's re-occupancy time, commonly 24 hours for closed cell.
We book installs Monday to Saturday from 7:00am to 9:00pm and Sundays from 9:00am to 6:00pm.
